Celebration/Birthday Books

To commemorate your child's birthday, or any other day you'd like to celebrate with us, you have the opportunity to donate a book to the Jefferson Elementary Library. These books will help enhance the library collection, support the school curriculum, and increase reading in our school. The book will have a label with your child's name on it, leaving a legacy in the library.

(Note: summer birthday options may include choosing September, or the student's half-birthday.)

Here's how it works:

Purchase a new copy of a book from your preferred retailer. One of your child's favorite books, or a family favorite, is a popular choice. You can drop the book off at the Jefferson Library.

OR

Request that the library purchase your chosen book with a $15 check made out to Jefferson Elementary.

We'll put a commemorative label on the inside cover of the book with your child's name, and their donation will be recognized during the morning announcements. Your child will have the opportunity to be the first person to check out their book.

Thank you for considering a donation. It is a great way to celebrate the special occasions in your child's life, and support Jefferson Elementary at the same time!

Please note: This is a strictly voluntary program. You are not obligated to participate in any way. We thank you in advance for helping Jefferson Library!

Volunteer in the Library!

Would you like to volunteer in the library? We need help shelving books. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact Mrs. Howe and/or Ms. Strong in the library. Thank you for your help!
