Forward Exam - Sophomore students will be taking the Forward Exam. The new custom assessment will be administered in the area of social studies.

ACT
Subject areas include: English, reading, math, science reasoning, and writing. Juniors will be taking the ACT free of charge on March 25, 2025 at EHS. If they would like to retake the ACT to improve their score, they will need to register and pay for the test on their own. Students should check with the colleges they are interested in to see if they require the writing portion of the test. Two-year technical and community colleges do not require the ACT. Test prep materials are available in the Counseling office and the high school offers a test prep class in the winter.

Optional**- ACT Prep Workshop (ZAPS)- Cost is $99. Students learn HOW to take the ACT test. At EHS on February 17, 2025.

Administered at a variety of different locations that students select at registration. The registration packet must either be completed and mailed into SAT or students may register on-line at www.collegeboard.com.
*extended time and special testing arrangements may be available for students with special testing needs.
*It is recommended that juniors wait until the March, May or June test dates in order to complete as much “junior year learning” as possible before they test.
