Teacher instructions: Students brainstorm ideas and then create a comic strip or storyboard. Completed storyboards can be displayed in the classrooms or enlarged and laminated and put up around the school.
Purpose of activity: To encourage students to think about ways they can look after and take pride in the school environment. The completed resources could also be used as teaching tools for other students in specific spaces around the school.
Brainstorm as a class what taking pride in our environment looks like at Ellesmere College and how we can demonstrate this in and out of class. Think about a range of different settings around the school.
Plan out a short comic strip or storyboard to explain to others how to take pride in their surroundings at Ellesmere College.
