Teacher instructions: Prior to this activity, you will have needed to signed up to mentimeter.com. This will allow you to work with your class to create a word cloud (Wordle) of student contributions.

• Go to www.mentimeter.com and sign up using your work email address.

• After some initial questions about your purpose of using mentimeter you are good to go.

• Start a presentation and click the word cloud slide.

• Type in the following question - What does determination mean to ____? (class code)

Purpose of activity: To introduce the idea of determination and to create a visual representation for the class of what determination means to them. This can be displayed in the classroom or stuck into books.
