Your Hapori class is to design and make from recycled materials a spirit animal* that you feel best represents your class as a whole. Your challenge will start on the 15th of February and you will then have until the 9th of April to complete it. In addition, we ask that you to come up with a blurb about what this creation is, how it represents you, and how you all relate to it. This must be displayed alongside your creation.

*A spirit animal is characterised as a teacher or messenger that comes in the form of an animal and has a personal relationship to an individual.

Guidelines:

• Your animal must be able to fit through a regular sized door.

• Most creative 10 points

• Most colourful 10 points

• Most materials 10 points

• Most bottle lids 10 points

• Least cellotape used 10 points

Extra points available:

• Incorporate a sprite bottle for 5 points

• 1 point for every red item

• Make your sculpture exactly 137cm tall for 5 points

• Incorporate a cereal box 5 points

• 1 point for every can tab incorporated
