9.16.2026-Ellerslie PAC & Parent Society Meeting Minutes.pdfEllerslie Campus Parent Advisory Council (PAC)- exists as part of an Alberta Government initiative and works closely with, and is often the same committee, as Ellerslie Parent Society - a registered society with the Government of Alberta.
PAC works "support parent involvement in the school community and enhance student learning." Furthermore, "School councils are legislated under the Education Act and are mandatory for all schools in the public education system, including charter schools." Click here for more information on School Councils.
Our separate fundraising society, Ellerslie Parent Society often made up the same executives and members that work very closely with the Ellerslie PAC. It is incorporated under the Societies Act or Part 9 of the Companies Act , and has established by-laws that the committee must follow during their tenure in their roles. More information about Ellerslie Parent Society can be found here.
We wanted to build this website to highlight the amazing work of both parent groups supporting Ellerslie Campus.
