The students will use glow in the dark paints to replicate some of the color schemes that are particular to the planets as well as having some colorful fun!
If time, the students will watch the second half of Bill Nye "The Planets". If the video gets finished, we will go through the comprehension questions together in order to also make connections between the video and what we learned during our research/presentations.

3. The students will use the dot paper to create their own constellations.

4. Once he/she has created a few, he/she will chose his/her favorite and use the story creating outline to design a myth.

This will also be used to lead a discussion for how the constellations change their positions within the sky, and which ones we see, depending upon the season.

Brainstorm and ask what students know about the Water Cycle to activate prior knowledge.
Students will watch the 25 min. exploration from the Mystery Science lesson.
Students will complete "Where in the World is My Map?" activity. Each student will be given a section of a map that lays out the configuration of the water around the world.
The questions that the students will answer revolve around their specified area's amount of: land, salt water, frozen fresh water, and fresh water.
