Dancer Drop Off and Post Show Pick Up Details
Dancer Drop Off
Please drop off dancers at 5:15pm through Main South Entrance at the back of the building. One parent should drop off their dancer at the check-in table. Signs will be posted. Parents will NOT be allowed backstage! We ask that guests remain outside or in the lobby until 5:30.
Auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to showtime.
Post Show Pick Up
Mini and Petite (Kindergarten-3rd grade) dancers
Pick up will be located in the classroom to the right of the theater. Follow the signs. Only ONE parent per dancer will be allowed in the pick up area. Please ask family and friends to wait towards the front of the lobby or outside.
Foundations (4th grade) and above dancers
Dancers will be dismissed after the concert and will meet families in the theater lobby. Elite staff will be present to escort students to their guests safely.
IMPORTANT
***Dancers WILL NOT be able to leave before the end of the concert.
For the safety of the dancers, there will be NO exceptions to this rule. Please do not bring valuables. Elite and Andrew will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.***
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we return
our young dancers safely to their parents!
Show Day FAQ
● How long will each performance last? We can only estimate the time of each performance as we cannot anticipate delays. Each concert will last approximately 2 hours with intermission.
● When is intermission and how long is it? Intermission is scheduled roughly half way through each concert and lasts 10 minutes.
● My young dancer has a costume change. Can I come back and help her? No need to worry! We want you to sit back and enjoy the show. In addition to the readily available Elite staff members, we have also assigned staff and older Student Helpers to each Mini and Petite class.
● If I have one dancer in one concert and one dancer in another concert, can they each stay backstage for their sibling’s concert? No, only dancers that are performing in a specific concert are allowed to stay backstage for their scheduled concert. The dancer that is not performing will sit with family (out of costume) and will need to purchase a ticket.
Theater Etiquette
Please help us teach our young students and your guests proper theater etiquette.
Guests late to the concert will be seated in the back rows of the theatre and will either be ushered to their seats at an appropriate time or will have to wait until intermission to be seated.
Entering and exiting the theatre should be done at intermission or at the end of the performance ONLY. True emergencies are the only exceptions.
Andrew has a strict “No food or drink in the auditorium” policy.
There are no balloons or strollers allowed in the perfoming arts center.
No photography (with or without flash) or videotaping.
Turn off all cell phones. Electronic devices such as iPads or video games are not allowed. The screens are distracting to guests and dangerous to the dancers on stage.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION AND ENJOY THE SHOW!
