Hello Electra Elementary and community. My name is Rachel Schur and I am the school counselor at Electra Elementary. I have been in education for 17 years, teaching Art and Music. I am very thankful for the opportunity Electra ISD has given me to work with such wonderful students and staff. 

I have been married for 20 years, to my husband Si. Together we have four children, 1 girl Blakely (who attends Texas Tech) and 3 boys, Nevan, Truett and Addax. We all share a similar passion for sports and I am happiest on a challenging hike, trying to summit 14er's. 

My goal is to bring the best comprehensive school counseling program that will benefit all students and help them reach their highest potential in academics and social abilities.
