Racial Health Disparity - Long-standing inequalities have disproportionately left African Americans without health insurance, living in segregated communities that lack adequate health care services, and subject to racial bias in the health care system that prevents them from getting proper treatment. This has created a legacy of racial health disparity that continues to impact communities of color. Many of the states that chose not to accept federal money to give healthcare to more people are in the Deep South, where most Black people live.
