The following information is what I found out myself and from information posted on the internet. I am just putting it all in one place and organizing it a little bit. Hope it helps!
KEY: ✅ Confirmed; 🟡 Unconfirmed.
TIPS
Using the Crown (right) and Top (left) Button
✅ Eye Tracking can be readjusted by quadruple-clicking the left button.
✅ You can force quit an app by holding the right (crown) and left buttons on top of the AVP.
✅ You can triple-click the crown (Accessibility shortcut) to enable a pointer to see where your eyes are looking.
✅ You can adjust the level of immersion or the volume by slightly turning the crown, then look up at the two icons (mountains and speaker).
Focus on the mountains and turn the crown to adjust immersion level.
Focus on the speaker icon and turn the crown to adjust the volume level.
✅ Take a screenshot of what you are seeing, all windows and pass-through environment by pressing the left and right (crown) buttons at the same time and letting go.
Hand Gestures
🟡 You can move the screen with both your left and right hands at the same time!
Interacting with Windows
🟡 If you bring an app close to you, you can use your fingers to interact with it instead of your eyes and finger tap. Only single and double-finger gestures work as of Feb 2024. It does not support three or four finger gestures.
🟡 You can enlarge the Mac Virtual Display past the maximum size. First, resize the window to maximum size using the corner handle (w/ pinch and grab). Grab the window and bring it close enough that you can touch it with your pass-thru hands. Place your palms on the screen, and move them apart (like a big zoom gesture). This will expand the screen to a much larger size than is normally possible.
🟡 Grab any link from a Safari window and drag it to an empty space and a new windows will appear with that link opened.
Siri
✅ If Siri is enabled:
You can ask Siri to restart the headset. "Hey Siri, restart."
You can ask Siri to shutdown the headset. "Hey Siri, shutdown."
Eyes and Adjustments
🟡 IPD (inter-pupillary distance) setting can be both automatically adjusted and manually adjusted.
Automatic: Adjust IPD.
Manual Adjustment: Follow link above to enter into the adjustment routine. Once the automatic adjustment is done, use the Top (left) button to manually adjust the displays. Pressing the button briefly will move the displays outward. Continue pressing to further move the displays. Usually one or two presses is all that is necessary.
Miscellaneous
🟡 You can use “reduce white point” in accessibility settings to lower brightness below what it lets you normally. Then access it with triple click of the crown.
Common keyboard shortcuts
⌘ is the Command key, sometimes has the Apple symbol on the key.

Fit and Comfort
"Dual Solo" Band adapter clip now available as a 3D print file.
Order/purchase a solo knit band from Apple (recommend the small version). When you fit it on, be sure that the top band is sitting on the top of your head, not towards your forehead, otherwise the sizing might not work. The design is reversible! If the strap is still too loose, flip the clips upside down (one side only, or both of them).
Helpful Information
✅ When you restart the AVP headset, it forgets where you put all of your apps so if you pinned a bunch of stuff to like lights or walls, they won’t be there when you restart. Hopefully this will be fixed in later releases of VisionOS.
✅In the app menu, look to the left for a tab. In this tab are "Apps", "People", and "Environments". You can start a FaceTime session by clicking the people in the People tab.
✅The Solo knitted band is reversible and can flipped for those who are left-handed.

🟡 Some lens reflections can be caused by a weird bug with the clouds/fog of the volcano environment. Open dark white sands and play media and the reflections are almost entirely gone. If you have reflections try changing environment and or adjust the light -vs- dark setting in the environment!
✅ To connect to Magic Keyboard or Magic Trackpad, the devices must first be unpaired with any current device. This may change in future releases of VisionOS.
Environments
🟡 Not sure if this is obvious, but you can change your environment’s direction by rotating your head around (like looking over your shoulder/behind you), recentering by hold the crown, and then looking back. Doing this on the moon, for example, will let you have the view that has the earth above you. I like doing it in Yosemite also, I prefer the other rock : )
Audio, Sound, Volume
Sometimes the main volume will show max but you have to unfold it and check that APP volume is max, since there’s also the people volume bar. Sometimes people volume is maxed, app is low, and the main volume will show max.
