Erin is a veteran Secondary Science Teacher who is currently the Curriculum and Assessment Learning Coach at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools in Leduc, AB. Previously, she was a Teacher at Archbishop Jordan Catholic High School in Sherwood Park, AB with Elk Island Catholic Schools. She has most recently taught Science 9, 9AP, 10 & 10AP but has also taught Gr. 5-8 Science and math over her 20-year career.
She holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Science Education in Assessment and Resource Development, and has completed 6 years of post-secondary work. She was also previously seconded to Alberta Education where she developed the Gr.6 & 9 Science PAT’s.
Having a strong background in graphic art, design and photography, Erin has a passion for developing resources for her colleagues and classroom that focus on Assessment for Learning practices and materials that support students in gaining a better understanding of study practices and strategies to better support their learning.
