Ehrhart Excavating was founded by Jack Ehrhart in 1962, initially offering backhoe services in the Jackson County area. In 1990, ownership passed to Bob Ehrhart, who expanded the company's services over the next three decades. In 2023, the business transitioned once again, with Bob's son, Nick Ehrhart, taking on an ownership role. Throughout its history, Ehrhart Excavating has remained a family-owned and operated business, committed to providing high-quality utility and excavating services across Northeast Kansas.
