The major goal of the East Helena High Vigilantes Boys Basketball Program is to instill values in each of the participants. Basketball teaches athletes the values of hard work, self-discipline, and handling criticism as a catalyst for improvement. Athletics develop personal and team achievement, sportsmanship, competitiveness, and pride in self and school. Sports are a very important part of the school atmosphere, and students should be proud participants of the East Helena High Boys Basketball Program.
