Welcome to your library! With 20,000+ books in our collection, there’s something here for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a great story, a graphic novel, research material, or your next favorite series, we have something for you.
What do I need to check out books?
You must have your physical student ID card to check out library books. We cannot accept phone screens, schedules, or student ID numbers.
How many books can I check out?
Students may check out up to three books at a time. Textbooks and class novels do not count toward this number.
How long can I keep books?
Manga, comics, and graphic novels: 1-week checkout
All other books: 3-week checkout
Can I renew books?
Renewals may be available if the book is not on hold for another student. Ask library staff for help if you need more time.
What if I lose or damage a book?
Library books are the responsibility of the student once checked out. Lost or damaged items may require replacement costs according to library policy.
What should I read?
As a joint high school and middle school space, our library serves students in grades 7–12, and we encourage students to choose books that fit their interests, reading goals, and family guidelines.
Because families may have different expectations about appropriate reading material, students are encouraged to work with their parent or guardian to choose what best fits their family’s values and comfort level.
Checked-Out Library Materials
Students are responsible for all library books checked out under their name until they are returned and properly checked in.
Damage
Students are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear that occurs while the item is checked out to them. Existing damage should be reported as soon as it's found.
Loss / Non-Return
Items not returned or accounted for will be considered lost and billed at full replacement cost.
Late Returns
No fines are charged for overdue library books. Once a book has been overdue past three weeks, it is marked lost and a fine is automatically generated for replacement cost.
Payments & Adjustments
If a lost book is later returned in usable condition, the fee will be removed or refunded if payment has already been made. Lost or damaged library books may not be replaced by the patron through independent purchase, as library materials require specific editions and processing procedures to ensure they match circulation and catalog records.
