Welcome to Kindergarten! This is an exciting time in your child's life and I am glad to be a part of your child's education and learning!

My name is Laura Thorvilson. I began my teaching career in East Grand Forks, MN in September 2000. I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I earned my M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction and my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN.

Our Kindergarten days are filled with reading stories, learning beginning math concepts, music, physical activity, writing and play! Your child will have days of fun and learning!
