All About Me

Hello! This is my 11th year in education, and it is my 3rd year in East Grand Forks. I'm new to South Point- I moved over from the middle school where I was teaching 6th grade Reading for the past few years. Throughout my career, I have taught middle school Language Arts and Reading in various locations: Kansas City, Fort Worth, New Orleans and Lincoln, Nebraska where I was also an elementary school counselor. I'm excited to return to that role at South Point! I love working with kids every day, and enjoy supporting them in all areas of their education and development.

My husband, Brian, grew up in EGF- his work brought us back to the GF area. I have two kids: Max (5) and Alice (2). When I have free time I love to travel, spend time outside with my kids, and read!
