Hello, I am Michael Mahar. I have been a teacher in the East Grand Forks School District since the fall of 1995. In this time, I have served as a Special Educator in the East Grand Forks Alternative School. I have also coached several sports including Cross Country, Football, Boys and Girls Basketball and Boys and Girls Track and Field. I am currently an assistant football coach and an assistant boys basketball coach. I am a graduate of Cavalier (ND) High School and received both my bachelor’s degree and my master’s degree from the University of North Dakota. I moved to East Grand Forks in 1998 and currently reside in the community with my wife, Angie, and our five children; Samantha, Tyson, Jaxon, Weston, and Charlee.
