I have been teaching at East Grand Forks Senior High since 2008. I am also an alum of Senior High. After graduating from UND with a degree in Mathematics I spent 2 years teaching in the Los Angeles area of California. I then spent 3 years teaching at the high school in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Since 2016 I've been teaching in the Alternative School where I help teach students all of their core courses (well not so much in English). For most of my teaching career at Senior High I have taught math to mostly freshman. These classes included Algebra 1, Geometry and some foundation math classes.

Outside of school hours you'll find me around sports. I've been the head girls and boys tennis coach since 2014, after being the JV coach one year for girls and five years for boys. I've also been coaching 8th grade basketball since I got back and am currently on the girls side. I work many varsity games as I announce or operate the scoreboard for volleyball, football, basketball, and hockey. You'll also find me at various UND sporting events.
