Hi! My name is Christy Carlstrom and I am the District Nurse. I was born and raised in Crookston, MN but now bleed green and red – Roll Wave! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. My work experience includes working in the Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Bismarck, ND and at Altru in Grand Forks, ND working in the Intensive Care and Same Day Surgery Units. I’ve been the District Nurse since 2002 and have enjoyed getting to know the students over this time.

My husband, Darin, is an Engineer for the Polk County Highway Department in Crookston. I have 3 daughters; Aubrie and Haylie are Registered Nurses and Natalie Social Worker. I also have a grand dog named Louie! I enjoy going to the gym, camping, reading and spending time with my friends and family.
