Please try the following at home:
Adaptive skills:
- Practice zipping and buttoning and unzipping/unbuttoning, using utensils to eat a key skill to work on when moving towards KG1
Literacy:
- Read a book to your child
- Have them identify what is happening, colors and shapes they may see
- Color Scavenger hunt:
- Find various items that are different colors. I have attached a checklist for you to use.

March.24.MOVGood morning! Thank you again to the parents who have been sending pictures and videos and also liking the videos on Class Dojo so that attendance can be updated. Here is today’s learning:
Math:- Line up some of your favorite snacks (goldfish, crackers, cereal, fruit). Touch and count them from 1-10 or 1-20!- Counting song:https://youtu.be/D0Ajq682yrA

You’ll need:- Baking soda, vinegar, a little bit of water, a glass, paper towels and a cloth (just incase)- Place some water into your cup then some of the baking soda and food coloring, then pour some of the vinegar. Watch as the bubbling takes place! Have fun and take some videos if you can!

We miss you all so much in PE and can't wait to have you back. It is important that you all do some exercise everyday while you are at home. Take a break from the work your teacher has set you to try this fitness video today:

Emotions: We have had discussions about different emotions and feelings. Have your child show you his/her happy, sad, sleepy, angry, scared, surprised and shy face! This recognition is extremely important as children begin to interpret and manage their feelings. Here are two songs about emotions that they like to sing to:

Free play:A key component of our day is free play! Please allow for your child to have some playtime. I enjoy listening to the conversations they have and hearing them think out loud.
