Sophomores have typically adjusted to high school and are beginning the process of self-exploration. It is also an excellent time to begin making plans for the years after high school. During this year, students are encouraged to accomplish the following goals:

• Plan a family discussion about life after high school.
• Evaluate your personality, interests, and skills.
• Explore occupations, salaries, and requirements.
• Understand basic college curriculum requirements.
• Participate in school and community activities.
• Start investigating how much college will cost.
