TN Youth Environmental Stewards

Our goal is to develop a statewide network through which student clubs will be able to work together promoting environmental education in their local communities and throughout Tennessee. (In order to be a TN YES Club, the club’s sponsor must be a member of the TN Environmental Education Association, but there is no additional membership fee to join the TN YES network.)

TN YES Clubs are encouraged to develop a program of activities which are suited to the community in which they are located. Some of the environmental concerns of TN YES Clubs include solid waste education, energy education, recycling of resources, water quality, land usage, air pollution, wildlife, and legislative action.
For more information, or to sign your club on as a TN YES club (while keeping your club's original name), please e-mail Helen Stearnes.
