Hello I'm Ms Bechmann and I have been at ACPS since 2019. If I am not at school you will find me teaching in the ballet studio as I am also a Classical Ballet teacher. I just love teaching!
I have 3 children; two daughters aged 13 and 5, and a son who is 1.
I love AFL - GO PIES!, chocolate, and spending time with my friends.

Hello, my name is Ms Ahmad, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as a first-year teacher. This is such an exciting chapter in my life, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to grow alongside my students. Becoming a teacher has always been a dream of mine, and now that it’s finally here, I can’t wait to dive into this adventure!
Hello, my name is Fiona Darmenia. This is my 5th year at ACPS, my third in Year 1. But I have been teaching on and off for just over 30 years. I have two children a son, who is 26 this year and my daughter who will be 11. We also have a dog, (a husky) named Lunar and I will become a grandmother when my grandson is born in June/July. I enjoy reading, baking, listening to music, arts and crafts activities and spending time with my family. I am eagerly looking forward to teaching my class this year and always welcome a chat.
Hi everyone, I'm Ms Y and I'm so excited to be teaching Year 1 in 2025. This is my second year teaching at Aitken Creek Primary School and I’m really looking forward to it. I enjoy spending a lot of time with my family and especially my sister since we have a lot of shared hobbies. I love to read and bake in my spare time. I also love listening to music and travelling. I hope to have a great year and get to know everyone!
Hello, my name is Ms McCurry. This is my 11th year of teaching and my seventh year at ACPS. Before studying to become a Primary School teacher I studied to be a Physical Education Teacher. My favourite thing at ACPS is the GAGA pit. I have one white fluffy dog named Teddy am in Orange House.
Hello, my name is Georgia and I am a third-year teacher at ACPS. I grew up in the USA and now call Australia home. This year, I am excited to teach grade one after having taught prep in previous years. I care about helping my students grow and succeed in their learning. I look forward to working with the students and their families to make this year a positive experience for everyone.

My name is Mrs. Mari. I have been working at Aitken Creek Primary School for 3 years as an Education Support staff member. I'm from Brazil, but have been living in Australia for 8 years. I have 2 children. My family and I love to go camping and spend time together. It's a pleasure to work with grade 1's and support the students with their needs.
My name is Dilek Tok, the students will know me as Ms T. I have been working at Aitken Creek Primary School since 2018 as an Education Support staff member. I am the mum of 2 teenage boys, 15 & 17 years of age. I also have a beautiful green eyed, black cat named Dunya.
I am so happy and excited to be part of grade 1 this year. I am passionate about supporting students with their learning each and everyday. I also love to colour in, draw and have lots of fun at ACPS.
My name is Karthika Manipillai. The students call me Ms. K. This is my third year working at Aitken Creek Primary School. I have been working with children for the past six years supporting them with their learning, social and emotional skills development.
Term 1: Thursday 30th January to Friday 4th April, last day of Term 1
(Note: Prep students begin on Thursday 6 February)
Term 2: Tuesday 22nd April to Friday 4th July, last day of Term 2
Term 3: Monday 21st July to Friday 19th September, last day of Term 3
Term 4: Monday 6th October to Friday 19th December, last day of Term 4
On the last day of Term 1, 2 and 3 students will finish school at 2:10pm
On the last day of Term 4 students will finish school at 1:30pm.

Student Free Days 2025
Throughout the year there will be student free days where students are not required at school.
These days will be communicated via Compass leading up the event.
Please plan and organise care for your children during these days.
