How to use this website
This website is not a unit of work, but rather a framework to assist teachers with music-specific content in any unit of work. Each concept of music has information and core activities to reinforce the content incorporating listening, performance and composition within a variety of musical contexts.
Some of the concept pages offer additional, solo activities for students to complete on their own, as well as group activities to support student collaboration with teacher supervision.
The content may also offer one-off music lessons within any unit of work, either at home or at school. It serves as an introduction to the concepts of music at any age or stage. Stage 4 outcomes are given, but the website will be useful to a wider audience of learners.
