Have you ever been inspired to create your very own remix, but couldn't get access to all the different layers of sound you needed? Well, here's your chance!
We're calling on all student beatmakers, producers, rappers, vocalists and bands to put their own spin on Supernova, a song that was written by a group of featured artists for the 2015 Schools Spectacular.
Share your remix by recording and exporting as an MP3. To share your creations, follow the instructions on the Get Involved page of the Spectacular Schools - Inspired website.

Download the stems to the song and use one, some or all of them to create something out of this world!
Make sure you don't use any material that is owned by someone else - no sampling from someone else's song or work. If you didn't download it from here, record it yourself, or obtain it from a Creative Commons library, it can't be in your remix.
That’s it! There’s no other rules, you can sing, rap, add your own beats, or record your own instruments - you can make it any genre or style you like - be as creative as you like.
Once you’ve made your very own remix, export the songs as an MP3.

Once you have your software installed and the stems downloaded, prepare your project by setting up the tempo and key.
The song is in D major and the tempo is 132 BPM.
You can either import all of the stems at once to see how the song works or get started, importing one at a time, slicing, trimming, adding effects and rearranging the layout to create your very own version of Supernova.
