Lesson outline and syllabus alignment
Lessons one and two builds directly upon each other. Lesson two is a continuation in terms of the focus on vocabulary. This is why the resource and activity numbers continue chronologically from lesson one into lesson two.
It is highly likely these two lesson may take students longer than two lessons, particularly if the vocabulary being explored and the methods utilised are new to students. Remind students that this is perfectly acceptable. Encourage students to take their time so they can develop a deep understanding of the process as well as the meaning of the new vocabulary.
Students will be introduced to ethical research through acknowledging prior learning about citing sources and then unpack key terminology through vocabulary building activities.
Students will:
develop their understanding of how to unpack new vocabulary.
