WPGHS Values: Appreciation of the Arts

Wiley Park Girl’s High School’s appreciation of music has always been evident since the initial stages of our school growth. A music report written by students in 1979 accentuates the deep love and admiration we have for music. The report itself features an image of the school band practicing “The Noah Jazz” alongside a description describing the group to be “professional with the potential to go on to bigger and better things.”. Not only that, but Wiley Park Girls also participated in events such as the Lakemba Music Festival that was held at the Bankstown Civic Centre showing how proud we were of our accomplishments.

Our school still takes an appreciation of the arts with Music and Art being our main subjects. The works are presented through Talent show, Art galleries and the Media team, while the whole community shows their great support and love for the performances and artworks.
