Introduction/overview

Which English course should I study? You must choose one of the courses as English is the only compulsory subject for the HSC.

You need to consider what you want to do when you leave school and whether you need English for further studies. Please talk with HT English/CAPA, Mrs Stenner, or your English teacher to see what course is appropriate for you.

Everything - every possible job that you could want to do involves English.
Check the pre-requisites for your University courses - you would be surprised at which ones want you to have studied English Advanced (eg. PE teacher at some Universities)
