As the Teacher Librarian across Liverpool Girls’ and Boys’ High Schools, Mrs Matic is here to support our shared vision of a library that empowers, inspires, and connects. Her role is to help students and staff make the most of the library’s resources—whether that’s finding the perfect book, building strong research habits, or navigating digital information ethically and effectively.

With a background in science and nearly two decades in education,Mrs Matic is passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. She also coordinates the Student Librarian Team, helping students take on leadership roles and contribute to the life of our library.

 With a deep-rooted love for science, engineering, and discovery, Mrs B brings curiosity and enthusiasm to her role as Library Assistant. She supports students and staff with resource access, keeps the library organised, and helps create a welcoming, inclusive space for learning. 

A lifelong learner herself, Mrs B is always eager to share her passion for knowledge and encourages students to explore their own interests in STEM and beyond. She is available in the library from Monday to Wednesday and is always happy to help.

Mrs K brings creativity and warmth to the library with her love of crafting, cooking, knitting, and a great graphic novel. Known for always having a smile on her face, she enjoys helping students find books they’ll love and making the library a fun, welcoming place to be. 

Whether you're after a new read or a friendly chat, Mrs K is happy to help. She is available in the library on Tuesday afternoons, Thursday, and Friday.
