Borrowing Books – Know the Rules, Enjoy the Reads!
The library is open for all your reading and research needs – just make sure you follow the borrowing guidelines:
Years 7–10 can borrow up to 6 books for 2 weeks.
Years 11–12 can borrow up to 12 books for 2 weeks, but only 2 books per subject area at a time.
Staff can borrow as many books as they like for 2 weeks.
Important Reminders:
You can’t borrow more books if you have overdue items.
Renewals are only allowed if you bring the physical book in for staff to sight.
Overdue notices are sent out every Wednesday.
If overdue books aren’t returned, an invoice will be sent to your parents for the cost of replacement.
Take care of your loans so everyone gets a fair go – and happy reading!
Check out our Student Study Resource Pages for all your study needs with more to come.
The library is available to senior students as a quiet study space during their timetabled study periods. This is a time for focused, independent work — not group discussions, games, or socialising.
What you need to know:
Knock and Ask – If the library door is closed but unlocked, please come in and ask if the library is available for senior study.
Sign in - You must sign in at the circulation desk on entry.
Quiet Only – This is a silent study space. Please respect others’ need for a distraction-free environment.
Bag Placement – Bags must be stored in designated areas to keep walkways clear.
No Phones – Mobile phones are not permitted at school, including in the library.
Respect the Space – Leave the area tidy and take any rubbish with you.
