Kookaburra week

Day 3 brain break

Dance like no one is looking

Music can have a great impact on your mood. So can exercise. Dancing combines both! But sometimes we can feel embarrassed to dance, especially in front of others.

Steps

  1. Choose a song (or two) that makes you feel happy and that is good for dancing too.

  2. Find a place where no one can see you, or where no one will mind if you dance. You should feel comfortable there.

  3. Dance to the song or songs for 10 minutes. Try to dance as though no one is watching and act like no one cares. Dance in the most embarrassing way you feel comfortable doing. Try to let go and let the music flow into your body. If it is safe and you aren't going to trip or knock anything over you might even like to close your eyes.
