G'day, welcome to Kamay Botany Bay National Park. This site is very important to the Aboriginal people who lived here for thousands of years. This is where they first saw white people come on a big ship, or Barraga, in 1770. Nowadays visitors come here to learn about the Aboriginal people in their way of life, the bush, the bay and the oceans vast resources. You can also visit the museum or enjoy a picnic and if you come in the right season you may even spot some migrating whales off the coast.
