Hi there, I'm Tess one of the teachers from the Field of Mars Environmental Education Centre in East Ryde. Here at the Field of Mars we organise excursions for students of all ages in all the major subject areas. 

One of our favourite excursions is Human Impacts for year 11 Earth and Environmental Science which is what you're going to be coming to us for in the near future. Your class may be completing a depth study based on your excursion experience with us. 

This is the first of 12 videos that have been made to help you prepare for your fieldwork on the day with us and to dig deeper into the subject of your depth study. You may even want to watch these videos a few more times after your visit with us because everything in these videos is important for your assessment. Here is a list of 12 videos for you to watch. You will be using a worksheet that is available by link from this Google Drive folder. Please download the worksheet and have it ready for the next video in the series. See you soon.
