BHNPS Learning Hub
Welcome to the BHNPS Learning Hub
This Hub is a central place for students, teachers, parents and carers to access information about the learning and programs at Baulkham Hills North Public School. Each section contains information to support student learning across all Grades. Regularly used resources, links and information is available across all Stages to help you support your child's learning at school and at home.
If you have any queries about the information on the Learning Hub please contact your child's teacher.
Watch a tour of our school
Each school is subjected to an external validation process every four years. This is a requirement for all schools in NSW and is a component of the school’s performance accountability process. There are fourteen elements assessed to determine an on-balance decision as to the level the school is performing at.
In 2020, BHNPS undertook the process of External Validation.
The result was that out of the 14 areas, BHNPS has been validated to be performing at excelling in 8 of the fourteen areas with the panel recommending that we should adjust a further two elements to the excelling level (we declined this as we did not feel we were quite there yet). The other areas remained at sustaining and growing but moving towards excelling. This is a great result for the school and a testament to the hard work undertaken by everyone in the last few years to ensure our students are being provided an outstanding educational service here at Baulkham Hills North. I acknowledge and give a big pat on the back to the school executive team who spent the last several months preparing the submission.
We have provided in the link to the video we showed at the opening of the panel meeting to showcase our school. I’m sure you’ll be very proud of this amazing school while you watch it.
Students may enjoy clicking on the links on the Explore page to undertake some self-directed learning.
The extensive array of links can be used to support the investigation of a problem, stimulate creative thinking, expand knowledge, skills and understanding or inspire a “passion project”.
The range of links will also help to keep active minds busy.
It is parents, families and carers who have the most influence on their children. When families are actively involved in their children’s education, children usually enjoy school and achieve better results.
This website provides information for families and carers about their children and the Australian Curriculum.
DoE Parent and Carers Toolkit
To support the hard working parents and carers that support us all, The Department of Education have created an 'essentials' toolkit packed with self-care tips and handy lists for the school holidays and beyond.
DoE Learning From Home Advice
If schools are closed for an extended period of time, the school will continue to provide learning activities for your child to do at home and will communicate with you about their learning.
