This learning sequence will introduce students to the changing government policies regarding the experiences faced by migrants in Australia. As part of this learning experience, students will focus on the experiences of Italians, who arrived in Australia between 1945 and 1970.
During these lessons, students will analyse a range of historical sources to gain an understanding of the short and long-term issues that arose for Italians upon arrival in Australia.

Students can:
