Several parking options are available to choose from in downtown Lexington; however, the W. High Street parking area is the most direct and adjacent of all the car/van parking options. Just across the street from Central Bank Center and Rupp Arena, the W. High Street lot is spacious and close.

It's confirmed that for 2023, parking in the W. High Street lot will require a flat, all day parking, fee. Central Bank Center has elected to charge a flat $12 + tax per vehicle as they enter the lot. Note, only digital forms of payment are accepted and there is not in/out privledges -- cars that leave will be charged to re-enter the lot.

Where Else Can We Park?

You are not restricted to using the W. High Street Parking Lot. Schools and visitors are welcome to utilize any location of your choosing. For locating the various downtown parking options check out LEXPARK.org

Plan Ahead for Traffic

On a normal morning, traffic in downtown Lexington can be heavy at times. Add in the additional time to make lot entrance payments along with several thousand students from hundreds of schools bringing hundreds of buses into downtown Lexington and you must expect the routes to take longer than normal.  

Lexington Metro Police Traffic Management Division has issued a traffic alert for the morning of April 19 and will be providing additional support to help manage traffic as their duties allow. Please, drive safely.
