The first day, Monday we had the welcome ceremony where each country made some presentations of their cities and schools. And then we went to walk through the city center, we saw the Ciudadela, the Portal de Francia, the Ayuntamiento...and finally we arrived at the Cathedral where we had a very interesting tour. Moreover, to have lunch, the Italians went to eat pintxos in the city center. And finally that afternoon we went bowling at Itaroa and we had dinner there. We had a great day!
On Tuesday the 17th, we arrived at the school at 9:00 a.m. and participated in a workshop to teach Spanish to the exchange students. We taught them basic things, such as introducing themselves and a few words in Spanish. Afterward we had some free time for a snack.
The second activity of the morning was a visit to the San Andres Mill, where we learned about how it used to operate, etc. We also participated in an activity. It was great to get to understand how the watermill worked!
In the afternoon, the Spanish and Italians girls met up in Pamplona. We went shopping and showed them places in the city, like the Taconera Park.
On Wednesday, we went on a day trip to the Olite Castle. We started the day by going to school, which was the meeting point to take the bus to Olite. Once there, we entered the palace, and a guide gave us a tour of the inside, helping us experience the history it holds. After the tour, we stayed in the village and had some free time. Then, we took the bus again to go to CENIFER.
At CENIFER, we saw many interesting things such as water analysis systems, solar panels, and how windmills work. Finally, we took a picture together and then took the bus to La Morea.
On Thursday morning, we started with an activity called "Cyanotype," which involves creating a photograph using a stencil, UV light, and then dipping the paper in water and hydrogen peroxide. When everyone,Italian, German and Spanish students, had finished, we hung them up in the physics and chemistry lab.
Afterwards, we all met in the Ikasnova classroom, and the 8th-grade students gave us a talk about sustainability at our school. After the presentation, we played a Kahoot quiz, then split into groups and played some games.
In the afternoon, we walked to the center of Pamplona to visit the bullring. Some took the elevator, while others walked up. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a guide and watched a video about bullfighting. Then, we were given a tour of the bullring and saw where the bulls are kept during and after the event. We also learned about the history and culture of Pamplona.
On Friday, as it was the last day of the mobility, we went in the morning to the centre to visit the twon hall and we all made a presentation talking about the things we have learned throughout the week and also saying the things that could have been improved. Later on, some diplomas were given to students and teachers who had participated in Erasmus. Last activity at school was a meal, there was music so that all of us had a good farewell.
In the afternoon, we spent time playing and to finish, in the evening we all had dinner together.
