Two Physics and Chemistry Teachers Take Part in a Job Shadowing Experience in Palermo
Physics and Chemistry teachers Ainara Iraizoz and Izaskun Díez recently took part in a job shadowing experience at the Ernesto Ascione Institute in Palermo (Italy). This activity took place during a mobility programme in which six students from our school and two other teachers also participated.

During their stay, the teachers had the opportunity to observe several classes in the scientific high school, particularly those related to Physics and Chemistry. This experience allowed them to learn first-hand about teaching methodologies, classroom dynamics and different approaches within the Italian education system.

They also attended practical laboratory sessions carried out by vocational training students, where they could observe how students work in experimental environments and how practical activities are integrated into their academic training.

In addition to the educational activities, the mobility included time to explore the culture and history of Palermo and to enjoy its rich local gastronomy, which further enriched the experience.
Overall, it was a very rewarding experience both professionally and personally, helping to strengthen collaboration between European schools and bringing new ideas and perspectives to the teaching practice in our institute.
