Welcome to our recently updated school website. We hope to use this space to share key information and links with our families and local community. For new families it will help to give you a sense of our school and our approach to learning. The site will also be used to share achievements of our learners. Athelstaneford Primary School is situated in a rural setting, serving the village of Athelstaneford and the surrounding areas including Drem and Camptoun. We currently have 55 children in our school and 17 in the nursery. The school is co-educational and all primary stages 1-7 are catered for in three classes. Our school consists of a nursery together with three classrooms and a shared central space. Composition of classes is decided on an annual basis. Our library area is located in the entrance to the school. For physical education and other curricular areas, we use the village hall and other outdoor areas within the school grounds and the village. We work closely with our families and local community to help improve outcomes for our children. Children in our local catchment will progress to North Berwick High School.
