ICT Policies

The purpose of this policy page is to provide notice of KIS International School’s expectations and guidelines to all who use and manage information and communication technology resources (ICT Resources) and services (including but not limited to computing, networking, Internet, communication systems, infrastructure, hardware, software, data, databases, digital resources, ICT personnel, procedures, and any related materials and services).

The School provides the ICT resources and services for the advancement of the School’s educational, service, and business objectives. Any access or use of ICT Resources and services that interferes, interrupts, or conflicts with these purposes is not acceptable and will be considered a violation of this Policy Statement and must be reported to the Technology Director. The School Board will deal with the abuse of the school ICT Resources and services and has the right to remove access from any user identified as a security risk or abuser of a school ICT Resources and services.

This ICT Policy, and any other policy referenced herein, shall apply to any and every member of the School community including, but not limited to, staff, students, parents, and independent contractors who uses, accesses, or otherwise employs, locally or remotely, the School’s ICT Resources, whether individually controlled, shared, stand-alone, or networked.
