IB Student Council

What is the student council?

The student council consists of not only student representatives voted by the students during our yearly autumn and spring elections, but also student volunteers. So anyone interested can be part of the student council.

What does the student council do?

The student council aims at improving student well-being and overall experience during their time at school, for example we organize numerous events for students every year. As part of the student council, members bring up requests or demands from students and together we work towards fulfilling them.

Why join the student council?

As part of the student council, you will be able to influence on many important decisions and enjoy spending time with other awesome people at the student council. Remember you do not have to be an official member to influence on student council decisions, volunteers are also welcomed to discuss and voice out student concerns:)

How will I benefit from participating in the student council?

Through participating in the student council, you will be able to learn about leadership and collaborative skills. You will learn to plan and organize awesome events and ideas, while at the same time making friends with other students. At the end of the day student council participation will be a wonderful experience on your resume and for IB students, student council activity will be enough to cover your whole year’s service hours!
