  • Cooper: Just a reminder, the food drive is right around the corner starting on october 30th. The food drive is a service project held here at lakeridge. The food we bring in will go to the bonney lake food bank and the bonney lake senior center to help out families in need.

Jeremiah: Don’t worry, there’s something in it for you too! Every time you bring in food, there will be a sign out sheet to log how many points you brought in. The top students who bring in 250 or more points worth of food get a bag of candy and the top person overall gets VIP seating at the next spirit assembly. The 3 classes with the most points overall get cookies. Finally, the top class with the most points out of the entire school gets an ice cream party in their first period class.

Kyra: See your teacher to find out which items will be worth the most points. Non-healthy, fast meals like Top Ramen or Bowl of noodles will be worth the lowest amount, mainly because they are not as needed as High point items such as Peanut butter, canned veggies, and soup. Remember, the more you bring in, the more you are benefitting families all around, and the more points you earn. Let's all scare hunger!
