In this session we will look at examples of visual argumentation, brainstorm some possible project ideas, collect resources to support the project, and create a sample you could use in your classroom.
The old process of removing a background from an image used to require a monochromatic background (e.g. green screen) that could be removed in video or image editing software. This was often quite challenging for teachers and students. If you are using a human subject, you can use the website Remove Background remove.bg to upload an image of a human subject. Remove.bg will then do it's best to eliminate the background from the subject. It makes this type of project so much easier than having to use a green screen.
Note: Remove.bg is now working for other subjects as well AND it has an editing tool built into the site.
