MAIN PLATFORM :
Goal: TABI is an online safe space for students to freely and anonymously open up or share their personal battles they choose not to share with the world. TABI aims to aid the lack of listeners for students who need someone to open up to regarding their problems. TABI hopes to be a permanent platform/organization in EDSCI; TABI wants mental health to be looked at as something holistic and must be incorporated into our general healthcare.
Description: TABI believes that no Sophian should ever be left behind, and that includes their mental wellbeing. TABI is an online safe space (a private consultation) that aims to comfort and possibly provide solutions to students struggling with their mental health. When a student wants to talk to someone, they may use an alt facebook account and send a direct message to TABI’s Facebook page. This ensures confidentiality because TABI also believes in privacy. TABI will also do weekly postings, giving students a heads up because you never know when they need it. Through this, TABI hopes to eliminate the thought of being alone, helpless, and hopeless among Sophians.
SIDE PLATFORM :
Goal: The goal of HOST is to provide a safe space for students who are struggling with their academics. These group sessions will ensure that the students will not only gain academic help but also build social skills, both of which are important in the real world.
