I am honored and delighted to be the new Assistant Director of The Woodlands Classical Academy. I am a native of Conroe and very glad to be back home in Montgomery County. I began my career in education by teaching choir, music and math for five years and have experience teaching at all grade levels. For the past ten years I've been an administrator serving as Principal, Associate Principal, Dean of Instruction, Assistant Principal, Title III/ESL coordinator, 504 coordinator and curriculum coordinator.
I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education as well as Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree from Sam Houston State University. I am currently finishing my Superintendent Certification through The University of Texas at Tyler. Prior to my career in education and while attending Sam Houston State I served with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the prison system for 5 years. In addition to teaching and school administration I have, at various times, served in local churches as Minister of Music, Youth leader, and worship leader.
I have been happily married to my college sweet heart and best friend, Angela, for the past 25 years. We have 4 children Caleb (19), Andrew (15), Bella (12) and Katelyn (10) and one furry child named Honey (a Chihuahua). Caleb is a sophomore psychology major at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. The three younger Morrow children all attend Magnolia ISD schools where they are involved in various activities. When I am not working, you will find me spending time with my family and serving the community. My family and I attend Gracepoint Fellowship Baptist Church in Magnolia.
