Throughout my life I have moved many times to many places. I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas but moved to Indiana at a young age. When I was in the 4th grade I moved back to Texas (San Antonio) and to this day I still consider San Antonio my home. I attended a catholic college in San Antonio (Incarnate Word University) and graduated with a degree in theater, English and history. I then moved to San Marcos to pursue my masters degree. There I met my husband and because of his job we moved back to San Antonio for the next four years.
I began my teaching career in a small town outside of San Antonio called Schertz, Texas. We later were transferred to Hawaii where I worked in an all girls catholic school. After four years in paradise we were transferred to California where we lived for the next 12 years. In California I worked in a K-8 catholic school and taught everything from computers to religion. I moved back to Texas to be closer to my family. I have worked eight years in the Woodlands at College Park High School (a large public school). In December I moved to Fort Worth to live near my daughter and grandson. I returned to the Woodlands last year and worked for one year at Humble Middle School.
I knew the moment I walked through the doors of the The Woodlands Classical Academy that it felt like home. I am very blessed to be a part of such a great community of people and look forward to an exciting year!
