Rachelle Stephenson

Mrs. Stephenson is the 8th grade science teacher for STEM Academy of Lewisville. She has been teaching science for 7 years and before that was a Special Education Aid. Mrs. Stephenson also teaches the Outdoor Classroom elective. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She has also completed graduate courses in Planetary Geology, Astrophysics and Education. She has been married twenty five years and has three children. Two of her children are attending University of North Texas and the youngest is in Middle School. Mrs. Stephenson's hobbies include cooking, gardening, collecting rocks and watching the weather. She is a certified Storm Spotter and when she was younger, she chased tornadoes and collected lightning data.
