Rachael Armstrong

Mrs. Armstrong teaches 6th grade History and Grammar, runs the Yearbook Club and Co-Advises the Middle School Student Council. This is Mrs. Armstrong’s 1st year with Responsive Education, and her 1st year teaching. Previously, she worked in Higher Education and The University of Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas Community College for almost 14 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Arkansas, Masters of Arts in Human Resource Management from Webster University and her Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Mrs. Armstrong is certified in the areas of K-6 Elementary Education, 4-8 History, and K-12 Physical Education and Health. In December, Mrs. Armstrong and her husband, Ben, celebrated 16 years of marriage. Together they have one son Michael, who started Fourth Grade with NWACA and a daughter Rylie, who started Kindergarten with NWACA. Outside of school, Mrs. Armstrong enjoys hiking, playing soccer on a women’s team, biking and attending her kid’s extracurricular activities.
