Johanna Paladino

This is Mrs. Paladino's 2nd year with Responsive Education. This year she will be teaching 2nd Grade, and will help coach the Spartan Cheer Squad. It will be her 14th year of teaching. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Mrs. Paladino is certified in the areas of Pre-K-6 and 7-8 Social Studies. She began her teaching career in North Little Rock, Arkansas where she spent 6 years at Immaculate Conception Catholic School teaching 5th grade and 1st grade. While there, she also sponsored the Junior High Pom and Cheer squads. Once she moved to Northwest Arkansas, she spent time teaching 2nd and then 4th/5th grade at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School. She then moved on to Northwest Arkansas Community College, where she taught Microsoft Office classes, and finally went on to Walker Elementary as a Literary Interventionist before moving on to here at NWACA. Mrs. Paladino and her husband, Joe, have been married 23 years. Together they have a 15 year old daughter, Addison, who attends Lincoln Junior High and a 23 year old daughter, Taylor, who is married to her high school sweetheart, Ryan. Outside of school, Mrs.Paladino enjoys a wide variety of activities. When chilling out, she plays with her two labs and three granddogs, reads books, listens to music, and enjoys just being outdoors. When feeling artsy, she likes to draw and create crafts from Pinterest. When in the sporting mood, she loves football, baseball, canoeing, and hiking. Her most favorite activity is dancing, whether it be, ballet, tap, jazz, or just freestyling to music.
